Mr. Javad Hedayati, Director General for the Department of Transit and International Transport at Iran's Road Maintenance and Transportation Organization, provided critical operational outcome, disclosing that the Bazargan border crossing currently processes between 200 to 220 on the Turkish side for trucks on a daily, basis, while approximately 450 trucks are received at corresponding entry points on the Iranian side.

"Following constructive negotiations, a mutual understanding was reached," Hedayati stated. "Measures will be implemented to ensure Iranian hauliers are granted reciprocal entry status at the Turkish borders, mirroring the facilitations afforded to Turkish fleets entering Iran."

The agreement marks a concerted step towards trade equity and is anticipated to unlock considerable economic potential along this vital corridor.
