25% Increase in Goods Transit through Mehran Border in Ilam Province during the First Half of This Year
The Director General of Road Maintenance and Transportation of Ilam Province announced a 25% increase in goods transit through the Mehran Border during the first half of this year compared to the same period last year.

Cheshmeh Khavar stated that over 94,394 tons of goods were exported to Iraq through the Mehran Border via 5,288 freight vehicles in the first six months of the current year.
He added that of this total, 38,778 tons were unloaded at the Mehran border, over 7,250 tons were exported as transit shipments, and 48,042 tons were exported directly without intermediate stops.
