Over Five Million Passenger Crossings Recorded at Khoozestan Province Borders
The Deputy for Transport of the Khoozestan General Directorate of Road Maintenance and Transport has announced that over five million passengers and pilgrims crossed through the Shalamcheh and Chazzabeh borders during the first half of the current year.

Fouad Ghaziali stated that during this period, the Shalamcheh borders successfully processed over 4,106,000 transit movements by pilgrims journeying to the holy shrines.
He further noted that the Chazzabeh border crossing recorded an additional 940,417 transit movements, encompassing both the departure and return journeys of the pilgrims.
