Ahmad Jamshidi, Director-General for the Department of Technical and Engineering Affairs at the Road Maintenance and Transport Organization, visited the infrastructure and facilities of the Mirjaveh border during a visit to Sistan and Baluchestan Province.
The visit was conducted to carry out a detailed assessment of the border's technical status, underlying infrastructure, and civil engineering facilities.
As one of Iran’s most active border crossings with Pakistan, the Mirjaveh BCP plays a vital role in managing cargo flows, facilitating transit and expanding regional trade.
During the visit, Jamshidi stressed the need to raise engineering standards and develop the border's infrastructure to ensure that, given the border’s high traffic volumes and strategic importance, commercial and transit services are delivered at the highest possible level of quality.
He also visited the facilities and infrastructure of the Holy Shrine service and welfare complex adjacent to the Mirjaveh border.
The Director-General of Road Maintenance and Transportation of Sistan and Baluchestan and the Governor of Mirjaveh County were present during the inspection.
