Hormozgan Ports Director: 5.14 Million Tons of Oil Products Exported from Shahid Rajaee Port in Six Months

The Director General of Ports and Maritime of Hormozgan announced that the export operations of oil products at Shahid Rajaee Port during the six months of the current year amounted to 5 million and 140 thousand tons.

Hamidreza Mohammadhosseini Takhti stated: "In the six months of the current year, despite the unjust war and the intensification of economic restrictions and sanctions imposed by the US government, the trend of the country's oil product exports has continued without any complete interruption."

He continued: "In the same period, operations for 325 vessels totaling 5 million and 140 thousand tons of oil products have been recorded."

According to the Director General of Ports and Maritime of Hormozgan, an examination of the export activity trends shows that despite the existing challenges in the path of foreign trade, financial restrictions, and difficulties arising from sanctions, the flow of oil product exports has remained in place and activities related to this field have continued.

Mohammadhosseini Takhti noted: "The continuation of this trend reflects the preservation of export capacities and the continuation of activity in target markets, despite the existing economic conditions and international restrictions."
