He highlighted that the ports have successfully shouldered the heavy responsibility of securing and supporting the trade supply chain, ensuring the availability of essential goods for the country.

PMO News Portal -  Arjmandzadeh pointed to the historical significance of Bushehr Port in Iran’s maritime trade. With a rich heritage in navigation and commerce, and equipped with multiple ports offering diverse capacities and capabilities, Bushehr has consistently played a decisive role in the nation’s economic development.

"The province’s ports have proven their ability to support the national economy at various historical junctures, and this resilience continues today," he stated.

Arjmandzadeh specifically addressed the ports' performance during the recent conflict. He noted that despite the challenging circumstances, the port complex maintained full operational readiness. The ports played a crucial role in the supply, unloading, and loading of essential commodities, ensuring that there was no disruption to the livelihoods of the people or the country’s maritime trade cycle.

The Acting Director General expressed deep gratitude for the round-the-clock efforts of the port’s staff. He recalled that since the 20th of Esfand (March 11), coinciding with the start of the third imposed war, employees across operational and administrative departments worked with a strong sense of duty.

"Despite the most difficult conditions, our staff did not neglect their duties for a moment. By adhering to strict protocols and implementing pre-determined plans, they ensured that all services to beneficiaries, cargo owners, maritime and port activists, and visitors were provided without interruption," Arjmandzadeh said.

Reaffirming the organization’s sovereign responsibilities and national missions, Arjmandzadeh stated that the Bushehr Ports and Maritime Organization remains fully prepared to serve maritime and port stakeholders under any circumstances. He emphasized that all human, technical, and operational capacities are mobilized to ensure continuous service delivery.

"The Bushehr port complex has always stood by the people and served the national economy, and it will continue to do so," he concluded. "Our staff, driven by a sense of responsibility and organizational commitment, will not allow the slightest disruption in service delivery or the execution of assigned missions."
