Three key civil and infrastructure projects at ports in Bushehr Province were inaugurated via video conference in the presence of the President and the Minister of Roads and Urban Development.

PMO News Portal - The ceremony was attended in Bushehr by the Governor of the province and the Deputy for Port Affairs of the Ports and Maritime Organization, underscoring the strategic importance of the developments for the region’s maritime sector.

The projects include the construction of the access road and bridge to Negiin Port Complex, the Operational Center Building of Dayyer Port and Maritime Administration, and the construction of a pile jetty, deck, and rock breakwater at Boukheir Port.

The 9.35-kilometer access road and bridge to Negiin Port Complex was implemented with an investment exceeding 8,500 billion rials, providing safer and more efficient connectivity for residents of Shif Island and nearby businesses.

At Boukheir Port, a 150-meter jetty and associated marine structures were completed after 15 months of construction at a cost of more than 2,700 billion rials, aimed at expanding port infrastructure and enhancing maritime services.

Meanwhile, the new Operational Center Building at Dayyer Port was completed within 12 months with an investment of 220 billion rials, strengthening the port’s operational capacity.

Officials stated that the commissioning of these projects will increase port capacity, promote economic growth, and facilitate maritime transport activities along the coastline of Bushehr Province.
