Working Group Convenes on Investment Projects in Astara Border Inland Hun

A session of the working group reviewing investment projects in the Astara border inland hub was held to examine investment opportunities aimed at facilitating and expanding services at this land border crossing.
During the meeting, private-sector investors presented their investment proposals for the Astara border hinterland, focused on increasing commercial service capacity and developing welfare amenities for freight fleet drivers and other road users.
The session also reviewed platforms for service development and expansion of commercial capacities in the Astara border hinterland through private-sector investment, with the objective of enhancing the agility of international transport operations.
The meeting was attended by working group members from the Offices of Economic Affairs, Investment and Financing, Technical and Building Engineering Affairs, Transit and International Transportation, and Freight Transport of the Road Maintenance and Transportation Organization, alongside officials from the Guilan Province Department of Road Maintenance and Transportation and private-sector investors.
