Senior Officials Inspect Poldasht Border Review Transit and Trade Challenges
Field investigation of the problems at the Poldasht border terminal with the presence of senior officials from the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development.
Jamili, Director-General of the Commercialization Departmebt at the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development, Hosseini, Director-General of the Transit and International Transport Department at the Road Maintenance and Transportation Organization, and the Poldasht County Governor conducted an inspection of various sectors of the Poldasht border crossing, examining the related issues and difficulties.
In a subsequent joint meeting, the most pressing issues and challenges facing the Poldasht border terminal in the areas of transit, infrastructure, and the facilitation of cross-border movement and trade were reviewed, with participants underscoring the need to pursue and remove existing impediments.
The Poldasht border is situated in the north of West Azerbaijan Province, adjacent to the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
