Transit of Approximately 2.4 Million Metric Tons of Goods via Iran’s Road Network during couple of Months
The Acting Director General of the Transit and International Transport Department of the Road Maintenance and Transportation Organization announced that a total of 2,371,929 metric tons of goods were crossed through Iran’s road territory during the first two months of the current Iranian calendar year.

Hossein Hosseini stated that this measure of transit was facilitated by 102,821 trips undertaken by active fleets in the international transport sector.
He further noted that over the same period, 2,944,801 metric tons of goods were moved across borders through 119,203 trips in the categories of exports and imports.
