Cargo Transit through Mirjaveh Border Surges 35% in Q1
The Director General of Road Maintenance and Transportation for Sistan and Baluchestan Province has reported a 35% year-on-year increase in cargo transport through the Mirjaveh border during the first quarter of the current Iranian year.

Shahram Mobarki stated that a total of 523,760 tons of goods were transported by 21,590 trucks via the border, marking a significant rise compared to the same period last year.
Of the total cargo handled, 146,606 tons were attributed to exports, 69,183 tons to imports, and 307,971 tons to transit operations, Mobarki detailed.
He stressed that these figures underscore the boder's strategic role in facilitating Iran’s international trade and transportation networks.
Mobarki identified the primary commodities moved during this period as gas, iron, sulfur and agricultural products, adding that an average of over 300 trucks pass through the Mirjaveh border daily.
