According to Javad Hedayati, 6,219,000 tons of various goods moved along entry and exit routes via Iran's land borders during this period.

Highlighting the pivotal role of the private sector in this achievement, Mr. Hedayati noted that 2,578 companies are actively operating in the field of international goods transport, alongside 64 companies and branches specializing in international passenger transport.

The report further indicates the deployment of over 40,000 active vehicles—with an average working life of 12 years—on international routes. Additionally, 51,000 drivers are instrumental in facilitating the nation’s international trade.

Mr. Hedayati also stressed the critical role of 26 active borders across 12 provinces, which serve as vital hubs for the exchange of goods and passengers between Iran and its neighboring countries.

This impressive performance underscores the strategic importance of Iran’s road infrastructure and the robust engagement of the private sector in driving economic connectivity.
