Etihad Cargo Expands Freighter Network In Winter 2025 Schedule

The updated schedule introduces a new freighter service from Abu Dhabi to the UK, with two additional weekly flights to East Midlands Airport. The new route commenced operations on Oct. 27.
In Asia, the airline will add one additional weekly service each to Shanghai, Hong Kong, and Ezhou, alongside six new weekly flights to Shenzhen.
The new schedule also includes additional frequencies to European and Gulf destinations, with two more weekly flights to Riyadh, one to Paris Charles de Gaulle, and one to Frankfurt.
The expansion follows the announcement of 16 new passenger destinations set to launch between November 2025 and March 2026.
The upcoming routes include: Addis Ababa, Algiers, Almaty, Baku, Bucharest, Chiang Mai, Kazan, Krabi, Medan, Medina, Phnom Penh, Tashkent, Tbilisi, and Yerevan.
“Every shipment represents a connection that matters,” says Stanislas Brun, chief cargo officer at Etihad Airways. “As we enter the busy winter period, increasing our network capacity and introducing new trade routes means giving our customers more ways to move their goods with reliability and care.”
