Bahrain Airport Company has signed an agreement with Valo Aviation to develop a dedicated private jet facility at Bahrain International Airport (BAH), which will boost investment, sustainability and air transport infrastructure.
Under the agreement, Valo Aviation will construct a 6,000-m2 VIP terminal equipped to handle the latest generation of business jets, including types such as the Falcon 10X and Gulfstream G700.
The new facility is designed to streamline operations for private aircraft, improving turnaround times and safety by separating them from commercial traffic.
The initiative comes as Valo Aviation expands its fleet, having added a Dassault Falcon 8X in June 2025, the first of its kind to be registered with Bahrain’s Civil Aviation Affairs agency.
Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa said the agreement reflects Bahrain’s commitment to strengthening its private aviation sector as a “key pillar” of national economic growth.
“Bahrain continues to develop its private aviation sector as a key component of our air transport system, one that attracts investors, diversifies the economy, and enhances Bahrain International Airport’s global competitiveness,” he said.
