Bombardier is expanding its U.S. service center network with a new 64,500 ft.2 facility in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Operations are expected to begin in the second half of 2026.
The new center is part of Bombardier’s previously announced multi-phase, large scale growth strategy in the U.S.
Bombardier announced the addition during a celebration on Oct. 8 in Fort Wayne. The center will provide maintenance, repair and overhaul capabilities for all Bombardier aircraft and will be located at Fort Wayne International Airport.
Once fully operational, the center will offer hangar space able to accommodate up to six aircraft. It will offer scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, modifications, avionics installation and Aircraft On Ground (AOG) support. It will also add about 100 jobs over the next few years.
“The U.S. is a key market for Bombardier, with nearly 3,000 aircraft in operation,” said Paul Sislian, Bombardier vice president of aftermarket services and strategy. “This new service center demonstrates our unwavering commitment toward customer proximity and convenience, as well as offering superior care backed by the confidence of world-class expertise.”
The facility strengthens Bombardier’s service center footprint in the U.S. and supports its long-term vision for economic growth and local job creation, Sislian said.
Bombardier is focusing on strengthening its U.S. capabilities in key hubs with the upcoming entry into service of the Global 8000 business jet and continued growth of its global fleet, it said.
