Emirates has launched the Emirates Center of Hospitality Excellence, a state-of-the-art training facility designed to give its 25,000 cabin crew a “world-class” hospitality experience.
The $8 million facility in Dubai offers immersive training modeled on Michelin-star standards, covering fine dining, premium guest engagement, and table service finesse. The initiative is part of Emirates’ ongoing collaboration with Switzerland’s EHL Hospitality Business School, formerly known as the Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne, which began in 2020.
“Emirates has invested in the highest levels of luxury hospitality training for our cabin crew, enabling them to create unforgettable signature moments,” DSVP of Service Delivery Thomas Ney said. “This facility allows our crew to personally experience the cuisine, beverages, ambiance, and service that define Emirates.”
New recruits, and experienced crew, will undergo the facility’s extensive programs, including an eight-week course covering corporate onboarding, safety and emergency procedures, crew resource management, group medical, aviation security, image and uniform standards, and service and hospitality training.
By the end of the year, the center is expected to train more than 10,000 cabin crew.
