Over 600,000 Tons of Goods Crossed through the Northern Borders of Sistan and Baluchestan
The RMOT Director-General of Sistan and Baluchestan Province announced that 607,416 tons of goods were crossed by 23,362 trucks through the northern borders of the province during the first six months of this year, marking an 11% increase compared to the same period last year.

According to Ayoub Kurd, 451,040 tons of this transit volume were handled through the Milak border, while 156,376 tons passed through the Mirjaveh border.
He further explained that out of the total transit volume, 462,901 tons were part of the outbound transit, and 144,515 tons were inbound—a remarkable 110% growth in inbound transit compared to the same period last year.
The Director-General stressed that this growing trend highlights the development and boosting trade exchanges as well as the increasing strategic importance of border in Sistan and Baluchestan Province.
