Iran’s Minister of Roads and Urban Development at the Iran-Azerbaijan-Russia Trilateral Meeting
INSTC Development is the Core of Trilateral Cooperation

Her Excellency, Ms. Farzaneh Sadehg, the honorable MRUD Minister stressing that this collaboration can pave the way for strengthening regional infrastructure and achieving economic integration along the International North-South Transport Corridor, stating that: "I am confident that the positive outcomes of this meeting can serve as a roadmap for the development of transit infrastructure and the enhancement of transportation and energy connectivity among the three nations,".
She also added that the widening of the 107-kilometer Jolfa-Kalaleh road and the construction of the Kalaleh-Aqband bridge are progressing steadily. As per the agreement between the two countries, the construction of the new border bridge will be completed by the end of this year.
The International North-South Transit Corridor is a unique framework for advancing economic, transport, and energy relations among the three countries. By establishing due mechanisms to manage this corridor effectively and adopting flexible approaches, the Minister stressed the need to capitalize on this significant economic opportunity while minimizing existing challenges.
