PMO News Portal - Farzaneh Sadegh, Minister of Roads and Urban Development, expressed her satisfaction with visiting Bushehr province, describing it as an honor to be among the province’s noble and hospitable people. She emphasized that Bushehr serves as the beating heart of Iran’s economy, noting that its development remains one of the government’s top priorities.

Highlighting the strategic importance of a maritime-based approach to economic growth, Sadegh stated, “One of the core programs emphasized by the Supreme Leader and pursued by the President is developing a sea-based and maritime-oriented economy.” She explained that the day’s visits to rail, port, freeway, highway, and housing projects were designed to advance this vision.

The Minister official itinerary included visits to the Bushehr–Shiraz railway project, participation in the inauguration of electrical supply for the Negin Port complex, inspections of the 832-unit residential project in Bushehr city, and evaluation of the new Fatemeh al-Zahra (PBUH) hospital site.

In addition, Sadegh was scheduled to tour Bushehr Port, attend a meeting of the provincial parliamentary delegation, participate in a ceremony honoring families of martyrs from the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development, meet with distinguished women of the province, and join sessions of the Provincial Coordination Council for Roads and Urban Development as well as the Planning and Development Council.
