TIN news:  Gadang CRFG has secured a $75m traffic dispersion and improvement contract from TRX City, developer of Tun Razak Exchange (TRX) in Malaysia.  

The two-year contract includes delivery of earthworks, foundation works, underground reinforced concrete road structure, elevated roadway, at-grade roadway and other associated works.

Gadang CRFG is a joint venture between Gadang Engineering and CRFG Malaysia. 

The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) has awarded a $625m-worth design-build contract to Pegasus Link Constructors, a joint venture between Fluor and Balfour Beatty Infrastructure.

The contractual scope includes reconstruction and improvement of Southern Gateway, along the Interstate I-35E and US 67 in Dallas, Texas.

Works include reconstruction and widening of an 11-mile section of the I-35E and expansion of the same from four lanes to five in each direction. It also includes construction of two reversible, non-toll express lanes, and reconstruction and widening of the I-35E/US 67 interchange.

Tidal Bridge BV has secured the Palmerah Tidal Bridge contract in Indonesia.

The first phase of the tidal bridge project includes construction of an 800m-long, floating Palmerah Bridge at Larantuka Strait, East Flores, and a tidal energy power plant with an installed capacity between 18MW and 23MW.

Tidal Bridge BV is a joint venture between Strukton International and DEC

The JV has initiated the feasibility study of the first phase of the project, whose design and construction will be completed by the end of 2019.
