According to the Department of the provincial administration, Mohammad Julanezhad stated that following persistent efforts by the department and the allocation of a specific transit code to Chazzabeh, the inaugural transit shipment was processed successfully in recent days.

"The necessary border customs formalities and transit procedures were executed successfully through effective coordination with the Chazzabeh border customs office, leading to the cargo's formal entry into Iraq," Julanezhhad added, highlighting the inter-agency cooperation.
The Director-General stressed the strategic significance of the Chazzabeh crossing, noting its substantial infrastructure capacity, pivotal location within international transit corridors, and positive reception from the trading community. "Chazzabeh possesses considerable potential for the expansion of commercial exchanges, particularly in international transit," he stated. "The Road Maintenance and Transportation Department of Khuzestan has prioritized plans to strengthen and institutionalize this new procedure."
