5.7 Million Travelers Cross Mehran Border in Ilam Province

According to Seyed Zahedin Cheshmeh-Khavar, 4,794,291 travelers were Iranian citizens, with 2,506,607 entering the country and 2,287,684 exiting through the Mehran border.

He further noted that 913,658 foreign nationals crossed the border during this period, with 507,379 of them exiting the country.

Mr. Cheshmeh-Khavar also added that currently, more than 10,000 people cross the Mehran International Border daily, highlighting its importance as a vital transit point.
