High-Level Delegation Reviews Progress on Kalaleh Border Project in East Azerbaijan
The Deputy Parliament Chairman together with the Chairman and members of the Civil Engineering Commission visited the construction site of the Kalaleh Border in East Azerbaijan Province. This strategic infrastructure project, located along the East-West Corridor, will span 19 hectares and serve as a key border link between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Azerbaijan. In the initial phase, development is underway on an eight-hectare area of the site.

The visit was attended by several high-ranking officials, including the CEO of the Transport Infrastructure Construction and Development Company, the CEO of Iran Railways, the Chairman of Road Maintenance and Transportation Organization and the Director General of Roads and Urban Development for the province.
