Bazargan Border Leads in Cargo and Passenger Traffic in West Azerbaijan Province
The Bazargan border has solidified its position as the leading border in West Azerbaijan province for cargo traffic, with the movement of nearly *80,000 cargo vehicles* recorded in the first five months of this year.

According to the border's director, over *13,000 transit vehicles* entered the country, while *4,880 vehicles* exited, placing Bazargan at the forefront of cargo activity among the province's border terminals.
Additionally, the terminal saw significant passenger movement during this period, with a total of *1,541 passenger vehicles* passing through. The *427,000 recorded passenger traffic* included *217,555 entries* and nearly *210,000 exits*.
This impressive performance highlights the strategic importance of Bazargan as a vital hub for both cargo and passenger transit, reinforcing its role in bolstering cross-border trade and connectivity.
