Setting Global Standards in Technical Education

As part of the ongoing efforts to align training modules with global benchmarks, this exam builds on the outcomes of last year’s training programs for selected managers and instructors in the international transport sector. Highlighting the significance of this achievement, the Head of the Training, Studies and Artificial Intelligence Center at the RMTO stated:

"This exam was not only rich in content and professional rigor but, with the real-time monitoring by the IRU and full video documentation of the exam process, it achieved a level of transparency and quality aligned with the highest international standards of educational evaluation."

Boosting Iran’s Standing in International Transport Training

According to Dr. Zakeri, a key figure in this initiative, lauded the successful execution of the exam as a strategic milestone for the nation. He remarked:

"For the first time, the Road Maintenance and Transportatioin Organization, in collaboration with the Iranian Chamber of Commerce, implemented a technical evaluation process for international transport managers in line with the frameworks approved by the IRU. This achievement not only reinforces Iran's standing as a regional hub for international transport education but also strengthens the confidence of global entities in our nation’s educational and operational capacities."

Institutional Synergy and Sustainable Progress

Dr. Zakeri further stressed the complexities involved in organizing this exam amidst national holidays and specific logistical challenges, noting:

"The successful execution of this event reflects the effective and strategic coordination between the RMTO, ICCIMA and the IRU. This collaboration demonstrates the institutional culmination and collective determination to drive transformational change in technical training."

Future Outlook | From Periodic Exams to Professional Certification Centers

Looking ahead, Dr. Zakeri detailed the roadmap for advancing the nation’s educational initiatives:

"Trainees who did not achieve the required passing score will have the opportunity to retake future periodic tests. We are also revising the educational content, introducing a broader range of instructors, and fast-tracking the implementation of a major project to train professional drivers."

He added: "Negotiations are underway to establish technical centers for theoretical and practical exams for cargo and passenger drivers. These centers will adhere to international standards and will be the first of their style in the country, setting the stage for a new era of applied and technical training in the national transport industry."

A New Chapter in Technical Education

This successful event marks the beginning of a new chapter in improving the technical training and assessment system in the field of international transport sector; a chapter that, by utilizing national capacities and constructive interaction with international institutions, paves the way for professional excellence and effectiveness.
