Kermanshah Enhances Border Infrastructure to Support the Arbaeen Pilgrims
The Director General of Road Maintenance and Transportation of Kermanshah Province announced significant improvements in border infrastructure and road safety measures to facilitate the movement of the Arbaeen pilgrims this year. These developments include upgraded road infrastructure, improved routes, and enhanced safety in accident-prone areas.
Yazdan Khosravi highlighted that operations for road improvement, asphalt resurfacing, and safety measures commenced in mid-March. Key upgrades at the Khosravi border include the installation of canopies, cooling systems and electrical transformers.
He also stressed the implementation of a comprehensive traffic and support plan, which includes infrastructure preparation, deployment of road teams, route improvements, accident prevention measures, and the organization of public transportation fleets to ensure smooth and safe pilgrim movement.
These enhancements underscore Kermanshah's commitment to ensuring a seamless journey for Arbaeen pilgrims.
