Stadler has announced major changes within its Board of Directors, with long-standing members Christoph Franz and Wojciech Kostrzewa opting not to stand for re-election.
As a result, this year’s Stadler Annual General Meeting on 5 May 2026 will see the election of two new members in Sabrina Soussan and Michael Schöllhorn.
Shareholders will elect the new members of the Board of Directors during the meeting, which takes place at the Swiss Life Arena in Zurich.
Having joined in May 2011 & 2012 respectively; Franz and Kostrzewa have both been long-standing members of Stadler’s Board of Directors, contributing to international orientation and sustainable financial development.
With the departure of two long-standing members comes the arrival of two new individuals: Sabrina Soussan and Michael Schöllhorn.
Having held various high management positions at Siemens; Soussan is currently a member of the Shareholders’ Committee of Henkel AG and the Supervisory Board of Continental AG. She is also the designated Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board of Continental AG and is expected to take up this position at the end of April 2026.
Schöllhorn, who has previously served as CEO of Airbus Defence and Space, aims to bring extensive experience in international project business, as well as years of industry and management experience, strengthening the company’s strategic orientation. Previously, as COO, he was responsible for global manufacturing and quality at BSH Home Appliances, one of the world’s leading suppliers of household appliances and an independent subsidiary within the Bosch Group.
Peter Spuhler, Chairman of the Board of Directors:
In Sabrina Soussan and Michael Schöllhorn, we have found two outstanding candidates for the Board of Directors.
They will continue the generational change that began two years ago. I am convinced that both of them will contribute to Stadler's long-term innovation and competitiveness worldwide thanks to their international experience.
