PMO News Portal, Khuzestan, Iran — The Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO) has taken a major step toward digital transformation with the rollout of its Comprehensive Human Resources Management System, designed to advance e-governance and streamline administrative operations across the organization. Imam Khomeini Port has been selected as the first pilot site for the project.

The integrated platform includes 12 interconnected subsystems, covering personnel management, organizational structure, staffing, attendance tracking, welfare, and administrative support. It is recognized as the first unified HR and support system within the PMO.

According to project officials, the initiative has reached 72% completion, reflecting steady progress by technical and management teams toward achieving the organization’s digital transformation goals.

The system underwent integration, operational testing, and user training on October 27–28, 2025, at Imam Khomeini Port. The process was supervised by a delegation from the PMO’s Human Resources, IT, and Planning departments, alongside local administrative experts.

The smart HR system is designed to centralize personnel data, simplify administrative workflows, and enhance accuracy and decision-making speed at the national level.

Officials emphasized that implementing the Comprehensive Human Resources System represents a turning point in the PMO’s digital transformation journey and serves as a successful example of e-government implementation in Iran’s maritime and port management sectors.
