According to MPA Singapore, the Bahamas-registered vessel arrived in Singapore on Aug 8.
Although it was on 12 August when the first crewmember of the ship confirmed with COVID-19. The following day, the Ministry of Health (MOH) informed that another four seafarers were coronavirus infected.
One week after the ship's arrival in Singapore, another 10 crewmembers were tested as positive.
"All crew members of the ship did not disembark. Swabbing was done on board the ship, where they remained until their COVID-19 test results came back."
...as MPA Singapore noted.
Following the above, the 15 crewmembers were immediately transferred via ambulance directly to a hospital.
The remaining crewmembers are currently under quarantine onboard the vessel, with no ongoing operations, while the ship will be thoroughly disinfected.
