Airbus unveils its new flight operations and ATM service company Navblue
TIN news: French aerospace company Airbus has launched its new flight operations and air traffic management service company Navblue, in a bid to offer a complete range of digital and integrated flight operations solutions.
Navblue will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Airbus and also serve as a primary unit of Services By Airbus.
Airbus Services Business Unit senior vice-president Laurent Martinez said: “Navblue will give a new impetus to the market and bring confidence in fully digital value propositions to our existing and future customers - for all types of aircraft.”

The major offices of Navblue are located in Canada, France and the UK, as well as other satellite sites worldwide.
The establishment of the new company follows Airbus’s acquisition of global flight operations solutions provider Navtech in March.
Navblue’s new portfolio includes Navtech's existing product range, which is now strengthened by Airbus ProSky’s air traffic management solutions, and Airbus’s flight operation solutions, such as its roll-over protective structures (ROPS) and FlySmart.
The products will be used in civilian and military environments, both on the ground and on-board aircraft.
Navblue president and CEO Mike Hulley said: “I am looking forward to lead into the future our new company, Navblue, which is fuelled by the customer-centric agility of Navtech, combined with the pioneering philosophy of Airbus.”
Navblue will offer three major services, including its Data+, N-Software services and bespoke solutions.
Data+ aerodata products provide customers with data access, while N-Software services enhance operations through unique software solutions.
Navblue's bespoke solutions maximise the complete air traffic management ecosystem by offering products and services related to safety, compliance and performance monitoring.
