ZMPD & IRU President hold minute of silence for victims of Brussels attacks

TIN news:  At a specially convened meeting of all its staff, IRU’s Polish member association ZMPD, led by its President Jan Buczek, held a minute of silence to remember the victims of the attacks in Brussels. Mr Buczek expressed his great sympathy for the families of the victims of the terrorist attacks and stressed that the tragic events were also an attack on the entire European community.
IRU President Christian Labrot joined ZMPD staff in remembering victims. He stressed that, despite the tragic circumstances, the international road transport community would not be intimidated and that normal activities must continue.
ZMPD Vice-president and the Honorary Consul of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg in Poland, Mr Adam Byglewski, added his hope that the hatred would not be transferred further.
