TIN news: Western Australia's Perth Airport has created a new family-friendly area that allows the passengers to have a comfortable international departures experience.
The 927m² family-friendly area is located at the eastern end of the level 2 departures lounge and is spacious enough to accommodate over four million international passengers handled by Perth Airport every year.

"Haymarket offers customers a unique and complete dining experience, with an extensive range of food and beverage options to choose from, all in one convenient location."
The new $12.5m expansion includes Haymarket, a latest six-in-one food and beverage outlet and a new play area for the children.
Perth Airport chief executive officer Brad Geatches said: "We wanted to create an area specifically for families where parents can relax in comfortable seating, while their children play close by in a colourful and safe area - all in close proximity to great food options."
"Navigating check-in, immigration and security screening with young children can take some of the shine off the start to a family holiday so, in this area, parents can now de-stress before their flight and little travellers will have a memorable start to their journey."
The children will have airport themed play equipment to play with. The play area will also provide interactive game consoles and a light wall.
The space as well provides refreshment for every member by offering a Haymarket, an addition to the airport's food and beverage offering, which includes a juice bar, café, bar, bakery and pizzeria.

Expected to be completed by the end of this year, Perth Airport has also undertaken $54m revamping of its terminal one forecourt.
In December 2015, the airport completed its 760m² food and beverage area at Terminal 1 (T1) International.
