Danish shipping firm Maersk Line to make Maidenhead move as Point deal is confirmed

TIN news: Kames Capital and Capella Estates has let more than half its new and award winning office development in Maidenhead to Maersk Line (UK) Ltd.
The Danish international shipping company has agreed to a new 10-year lease on floors four to eight at Point in Market Street.
It totals 40,895 sq ft of grade A office space and Maersk Line will pay headline rents of between £33.50 and £35 per sq ft.
A flagship office development in the heart of the town centre, Point totals 78,265 sq ft set over nine floors.
Designed by Darling Associates architects, the offices feature a double height ground floor lobby entrance and panoramic views from the upper floors.
The build was named Best Commercial Workspace at the 2015 BCO Development Awards for the South of England, Thames Valley and South Wales.
Sarah Cockburn, fund manager at Kames Capital, said: “We are delighted to welcome Maersk Line to Point.
“The team have worked hard to produce an exceptional building and we are pleased to have secured such a high quality occupier.
“We are now confident that the remaining space in the building will let up fast as the occupier market improves and supply continues to tighten.”
