The IRU further highlighted its efforts to develop intra and inter-regional trade and transport in the Gulf Cooperation Council Region through its promotion of key trade and transport facilitation instruments, such as the TIR Convention. The Minister of Transport expressed his full support for Qatar joining TIR. H.E. also showed appreciation for the excellent partnership between the IRU Academy and its Accredited Training Institute, the Karwa Driving School, to improve road safety and increase efficiency in Qatar through professional training.
