Scrubbers ordered for Saga Cruises’vessels

TIN news:   Yara Marine Technologies announced that it has been awarded a contract for the supply of hybrid scrubber systems (open and closed loop) for Saga Cruises’ latest newbuilding with an option for a second vessel. The vessel is already under construction at Meyer Werft in Germany.
With a combined engine power of 21,6 MW, the vessel’s four MAN engines will each be connected to a Yara Marine Technologies SOx scrubber to effectively clean the exhaust gas emission down to the International Maritime Organization’s (IMO) current and future emission requirements.
