Bombardier said that construction is progressing on its new service center in the United Arab Emirates, with major structural elements taking shape at the company’s site at Al Bateen Executive Airport (OMAD) in Abu Dhabi.

The facility, scheduled to open in 2026, will provide maintenance support for the newly certified Global 8000, as well as the full Learjet, Challenger, and Global aircraft families.

Paul Sislian, Bombardier’s executive vice president of aftermarket services and strategy, said the progress marks a key milestone in the company’s expansion plans in the Middle East.

“Seeing this flagship facility take shape is a powerful symbol of Bombardier’s commitment to delivering maintenance capabilities in the region,” Sislian said.

“We strive to make every service experience seamless, guided by care, convenience, and confidence.”

The approximately 120,000-ft.2 complex will include a 55,000-ft.2 hangar, a dedicated parts depot, and comprehensive maintenance offerings ranging from scheduled and unscheduled heavy maintenance to aircraft modifications and aircraft on ground (AOG) support.

Once operational, the facility will create approximately 100 skilled jobs in Abu Dhabi.
