Exports Exceeding 622,000 Tons of Iranian Goods from the Bilehsavar-Bilusavar Border Crossing

The Director General for Road Maintenance and Transportation of Ardabil Province announced that over 622,000 tons of Iranian cargo have been exported from the Bilehsavar-Bilusavar border crossing to neighboring countries throughout the first ten months of the current year. This achievement underscores the border's established position in export routes and its significant role in boosting the region's economic vitality.

Khalimullah Vosooghi highlighted that this measure of exports was facilitated by 29,000 trucks, with the primary goods comprising tiles, rebar, various detergents, fresh fruits, potatoes, salt and construction stones.

He further noted that during this period, imports also showed a robust performance, with 31,551 tons of goods brought into the Bilehsavar-Bilusavar border by 1,520 vehicles.

Mr. Vosooghi also stressed that the incoming transit of 402,662 tons of goods via 18,784 trucks reflects an 18% increase compared to the same period last year.

Additionally, 506,659 tons of goods were transited out of the Bilehsavar-Bilusavar border by 23,111 trucks during the same timeframe.
