Mazandaran Ports Report Over 1 Million Tons of Imports in Five Months
Transit and International Transport Department of the Mazandaran Provincial Directorate General of Road Maintenance and Transportation of Mazandaran has reported significant growth in trade activity through its ports during the first five months of this year.

o Over *1.231 million tons* of goods were imported via Mazandaran's ports.
• *Exports:*
o Over *903,000 tons* of goods were exported to neighboring countries.
o Key exports included *cement, dairy products, and mineral products.*
o Exports increased by *10%* compared to the same period last year.
• *Transit:*
o The total cargo measure in transit was *37,481 tons,* marking an *82% increase* year-on-year.
According to Nahid Shahraminia, head of the International Transport and Transit Bureau, these figures underscore Mazandaran’s strategic role in regional trade and its expanding capacity to meet growing market demands.
