Via Rail Canada Announces Return of Canada Strong Pass

Via Rail Canada has announced the return of its Canada Strong Pass, which offers free or discounted travel for children, youth and adults aged 18 to 24 during the winter months.

The offer is valid on tickets booked for travel between December 12 and January 15 and applies to Escape and Economy fares purchased between October 27 2025 and January 15 2026.

Discounts include free travel for children and young people aged 17 (discount code: CANADAFAM) and under when accompanied with an adult and 25% off fares for young adults aged 18 to 24 (discount code: CANADA1824).

Those who have already booked trips may be eligible for a refund if the trip falls within the parameters of the sale.
