PMO News Portal - Mohammad Reza Talaee expressed appreciation during his visit for the efforts of agencies active in the cargo supply chain and the work done to accelerate the clearance process.

"The capacities of Bandar Amirabad in unloading, loading, and cargo clearance are favorable, and sustaining this trend requires continuous coordination and close cooperation among all executive agencies and related institutions," Talaee said.

Referring to the port's role in supplying and distributing essential goods, facilitating cargo inflow, and supporting the country's supply chain, the deputy minister emphasized the need to maximize port capacities and reduce cargo dwell time.

"With continued cooperation among responsible agencies, the cargo clearance process can be further facilitated and disruptions in the supply chain prevented," he added.

During the visit, Mohammad Ali Mousapour Gorji, Director General of Ports and Maritime Organization of Amirabad, presented a report on the latest status of berths, warehouses, and port equipment, outlining available capacities for accelerating unloading and loading operations and reducing cargo clearance time.
