Aegean Airlines to launch new Athens to Edinburgh service
TIN news: Edinburgh Airport and Aegean Airlines have announced a new route from Edinburgh to Athens for summer 2017
Operating on Tuesdays and Fridays between June 20th and September 19th 2017, the Edinburgh-Athens service provides passengers with a direct link between the Greek and Scottish Capital cities.
The flights will operate using 174-seat Airbus A320 aircraft, offering a dual class configuration and full onboard service, which includes complimentary food and drink.
The Edinburgh-Athens service provides passengers with a direct link to the Greek capital but also onward connectivity throughout the Greek islands and mainland Greece. Over and above the domestic connections, Edinburgh-Athens service offers a high number of connecting opportunities to cities in the neighbouring countries such as Cyprus and the Balkans.
Athens is one of the world’s oldest cities, with its recorded history spanning around 3,400 years. Today, a cosmopolitan metropolis, modern Athens is central to economic, financial, industrial, political and cultural life in Greece.
