Aviation Week has contacted ST Engineering for details on which facility will perform the work.
According to Aviation Week Fleet Discovery data, 21 A220 family aircraft are currently in service across Asia-Pacific, with another 179 on order. ST Engineering announced the contract alongside its third-quarter results, in which its commercial aerospace portfolio reported SG$1.4 billion ($1.1 billion) in new orders across its MRO, aerostructures and systems businesses.
During the same period, the company also signed an exclusive two-year agreement with China’s Hebei Airlines to provide CFM International CFM56-7B engine performance restoration shop visit services.
