As Saudi Arabia continues advancing toward its Vision 2030 goals and expanding access for international visitors, Delta Air Lines announced Oct. 27 it will launch direct nonstop flights between Atlanta and Riyadh beginning in October 2026.

The new route marks Delta’s first-ever service to Saudi Arabia and is expected to strengthen the airline’s presence in the Middle East.

Operating three times a week with Airbus A350-900s aircraft, the service will connect Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport directly to Riyadh King Khalid International Airport. The route will be one of Delta’s longest at over 7,000 mi.

Ahmed Al-Khateeb, Minister of Tourism for Saudi Arabia said the Kingdom looks forward to the opportunities the service will create for travelers worldwide.

“Delta’s new nonstop flights between Atlanta and Riyadh mark a significant milestone in strengthening global connectivity between our nations and will open new doors for tourism and cultural exchange while driving business and innovation,” Al-Khateeb said.

The new service comes after Delta’s strategic partnership with Riyadh Air was announced in July 2024.
