Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif is planned to attend a conversation organized by the American think tank the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) in the New York City on July 17.

According to the think tank’s website, the senior Iranian diplomat is going to discuss the “current developments in the Middle East” in the upcoming meeting.

Presided by CFR President Richard N. Haass, the conversation will begin on July 17, at 6:00 pm EDT.

Heading a diplomatic delegation, Foreign Minister Zarif will travel to the US next week for a series of UN-sponsored meetings.
