Seventh Session of Transit and Border Crossings Committee Convened to Advance Development Goals
The Seventh Session of the Transit and Border Crossings Committee was convened led by the Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Development and Chairman of the Road Maintenance and Transportation Organization. The meeting, aligned with the objectives of the national Seventh Development Plan, focused on the systematic organization of border crossings.
Proceedings included a comprehensive report on the current status of transit operations and border crossings in Sistan and Baluchestan Province and the southern region (Iranshahr). Deliberations addressed pivotal infrastructural and procedural challenges pertaining to border crossings and border operations.
Key resolutions were ratified, notably the implementation of the comprehensive development plan for the Rimdan Border, alongside the review and decelopment of the Milak and Mirjaveh borders.
The session was attended by members of the Board of Directors, RMTO vice presidents, staff members of the Transit and Border Crossings Committee, and the Director General of Road Maintenance and Transportation for Sistan and Baluchestan Province and the southern region (Iranshahr).
