TIN news:   The German auto manufacturer Audi will be unveiling a range of products for sale in Iran via an official local sales representative.
Ramak Khodro, the official retailer of the South Korean SsangYong Motor in Iran, has signed a deal with Audi. It will be collaborating with the German company to help promote Audi sales in Iran, Eghtesad News reported.
In Iran’s post-sanctions environment, several European carmakers have shown interest in officially entering the market. Some have started testing the market by importing cars and might set up joint ventures with Iranian carmakers in future.
Previously, the French automotive group Peugeot-Citroen also announced plans to import about 1,000 units of its upscale DS brand in Iran in 2016.  
Britain’s Lotus brand also opened its first showroom in Tehran and unveiled the Elise 220 sports coupe to Iranian car fanatics in September.
