TIN news:     Powerful storm has hit Iran’s capital, Tehran last night.
At its peak, the storm, combined with lightening, brought winds of up to 70km/hour, knocking over trees and damaging windows at 21:00 last night.
The storm turned the sky orange from dust brought on by the strong winds which is an unusual event in Tehran.
The storm caused power cuts in western part and heavy traffic from poor visibility as dust engulfed parts of the capital.
Meantime, manager of Tehran Emergency Service’s public relations announced that Tehran storm did not leave anyone injured.
