Etihad Airways embarks on global recruitment push

TIN news:   Etihad Airways has announced plans to host a major recruitment drive globally, taking in 12 cities in five countries.
 
The international recruitment days will include Italy, Germany, Japan, Morocco and Tunisia, the airline said in a statement.
 
In Abu Dhabi, the airline will also hold recruitment days on October 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29, and open days for food and beverage managers and inflight chefs on October 13 and 27, it added.
 
Applicants interested in attending the recruitment days should register in advance by visiting www.etihad.com/cabincrewrecruitment.
 
Aubrey Tiedt, Etihad's vice president guest services, said: "In each of these cities we will be inviting up to 200 of the strongest candidates with remarkable hospitality skills to join us at the recruitment days."
 
Alongside providing candidates with comprehensive information about living in Abu Dhabi, the airline will also conduct an in-depth interview process.
 
Tiedt added: "To support the rapid growth of the airline, we are hosting our recruitment drive in these countries, all strategically-important markets for the airline.
 
"We hope to attract and recruit talented and enthusiastic individuals who are incredibly passionate and dedicated to deliver remarkable hospitality."
 
Currently, the Etihad cabin crew team hails from more than 115 nationalities. Successful candidates will undergo a comprehensive training program in Abu Dhabi.
 
Etihad said cabin crew are provided with company medical insurance, transport, uniforms and fully furnished company accommodation, and are all based in the capital of the UAE.
