Cameron LNG starts its first LNG production from Train 2

Furthermore, Train 2 and Train 3 are scheduled to begin commercial operations in the first and third quarter of 2020 respectively, under Cameron LNG's tolling agreement.

As the company further informed, this first LNG production means a major milestone in the development of the liquefaction facility.

For the records the facility's first liquefaction train officially begun commercial operations back in August 2019.

Moreover, the Cameron's LNG project Phase 1 involves the first three liquefaction trains which will allow the export of about 12 million tonnes of LNG for each year, or approximately 1.7 billion cubic feet per day.

Cameron LNG is a liquefied natural gas (LNG) receipt terminal, jointly owned by affiliates of Sempra LNG, Total, Mitsui & Co., Ltd., and Japan LNG Investment, LLC, a company jointly owned by Mitsubishi Corporation and Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha. Concluding Sempra Energy holds 50.2% of the Cameron LNG.
