Singapore LTA awards grinder contract to Harsco

SINGAPORE’s Land Transport Authority (LTA) has awarded Harsco Rail a contract deliver a 16-stone grinder, which is due to be delivered in January 2020.

SINGAPORE’s Land Transport Authority (LTA) has awarded Harsco Rail a contract deliver a 16-stone grinder, which is due to be delivered in January 2020.

The grinding carriage has been designed to accommodate electric motors for operation on Singapore’s new Thomson - East Coast Line.

“We have developed a strong partnership and open communication with LTA over the last 15 years,” says Harsco Rail president, Mr Jeswant Gill. “Because of that strong foundation, we were able to develop a quality product that supports the specific needs of the Singapore railway system.”
